Higher Diploma in Information Technology (HDIT)

Introduction:

The HDIT qualification consists of four semesters (1 DITEC + 3 HDIT) and each HDIT semester consists of 4 subjects. This Higher Diploma is designed according to the standards of the proposed Sri Lankan Qualification Framework (SLQF) and is awarded by ESOFT. On completion of this Higher Diploma, a students can gain entry to the final year of a British Degree.

Entry Requirements:

Eligible Candidates should possess the following:

• "A" Levels with 2 passes + Credit for English at "O" Levels
  OR
• "O" Levels with Credit for English + Minimum of a recognised ICT Diploma of 4 to 6 months
  AND
• Age should be 16+

• 1st Month : Rs. 11,000
• 2nd to 12th Month : Rs: 8,000 per month
