The programme consists of 6 semesters spread over 3 academic years.

At the successful completion of Semesters 1 and 2 (year 1) you will be awarded with the UCSC Diploma in IT.
At the successful completion of Semesters 3 and 4 (year 2) you will be awarded with the UCSC Higher Diploma in IT.
You can then complete Semesters 5 and 6 (year 3) and be awarded with the Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) External Degree of the University of Colombo School of Computing
